First Semester

Work Done

The first semester consisted mainly of reviewing the State of the Art and then writing and presenting the dissertation proposal. Communication with a sensor from Bosch Sensortec was also tested with the following results:

  • C++ API - did not compile;

  • Python API - connected but there was no documentation;

  • Development Desktop 2.0 - collected data but only exists for Windows.

Future Work

After the meeting it was decided the first steps would be to set up the development environment and make a simple program to control the robot for simple tasks.
